Training
Phoenix Training Transformative Breathwork:
the 'next level' tool in counseling work
OBJECTIVE TRAINING
You integrate various forms of transformative breathwork, with the right framework
before, during and after the breathing session, in both individual counseling programs and in group sessions and workshops, with the aim of profound and lasting catharsis for body, mind and soul. Hereby going deeper than what can be named with words, reaching pre-verbal and repressed parts, bypassing the inhibitions of the adult prefrontal cortex and bringing old impressions and suppression to expression (instead of depression).
During a session of transformational breathing, you will guide people through the process of the Phoenix: breathing with fire through everything that presents itself in body, mind, heart and spirit so that what is no longer needed can 'burn', after which resurrection from the ashes can take place, and one can walk back into life reborn.
ADMITTED TO TRAINING
Psychotherapists, body-oriented therapists, couples therapists and sexologists, physicians, paramedics and coaches who are familiar with deep conversation and/or bodywork.
Those who feel equally qualified through continuing education may request an intake interview.
CONTENT TRAINING
You learn to use transformational breathwork as a powerful tool in individual counseling, in couple therapy and couple counseling (for improvement of the relationship dynamics, also very interesting for sexual problems), and you also learn how to use this for group counseling and in group sessions.
Besides theoretical frameworks that are partly handled through self-study and assignments, the emphasis during and between the training days is on experiencing and practicing the breathing techniques, coaching methods and other skills such as creating the musical framework (Spotify playlists or using your own music and sounds), being able to deal with both 'dark' trauma issues and 'enlightened' transpersonal and spiritual experiences that often occur during breathing sessions.
In addition, there is also ample attention to personal development, since a good breathwork facilitator should have no fear of triggering clients and of what then emerges of sadness, anger, fear, freeze, flight, fight reactions and all forms of expression during the transformative process that takes place.
Of course, a good breathwork facilitator must first have enough breathwork sessions themselves as a client on the counter, have faced and felt through birth traumas and other survival strategies, have resurrected one's own phoenix from the ashes multiple times.
After module 1 you will be a Transformational Breathwork Practitioner.
After fullfilling all exercises and assignments of module 2 and participating in module 3, you will receive the certificate of Professional Master Practitioner in Transformational Breathwork.

WHO ARE WE?
This training is organized by FENIKS, your life, your transformation.
This organization is a co-creation of Hans and Patricia, lifelong companions, blessed together with 4 beautiful daughters (now grown up).
Patricia Vanoutrive (°1970) is the trainer in the program. She is a doctor, teacher, developmental coach, NLP-er, breathwork trainer, trauma release facilitator, hypnotherapist, group therapist, rites of passage facilitator. She is certified in various forms of transformative breathwork through trainings at Innercamp and Inner Journey, and also attended breath workshops elsewhere for broadening and deepening her knowledge and expertise in this field.
Her long experience as a medical doctor, coach and guide of searching people on their life path, and as professor in higher education, together with her many and various further trainings and certificates, ensures a profound and versatile approach, both in guiding individuals and groups and in giving trainings.
Hans De Doncker (°1967) is the power behind the scenes and spaceholder of Les Puiselets, who will provide tasty and healthy meals, the maintenance of the beautiful nature and the vineyard at our training site, fire in sauna and hot tub and positive, grounded male energy in the background. As a former top manager and experienced people-manager, coach and nature coach, firekeeper and firewalking guide, he is (in addition to being a point of contact for practical issues large and small) also present for those in need of a listening ear or the embrace of a solid, big-oak-man.
